Nicholas R. DiProspero, KHS 1959

Nicholas R. DiProspero, 81, of Mountain City, Tennessee died November 4, 2021 at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. Born in Toughkenamon, PA, he was the son of the late Luigi and Rose DiProspero. Nick worked as a mushroom grower in Kennett Square, PA until he moved to Tennessee, where he worked as a truck until he had a serious heart attack. Nick was part of St. Jude Research Hospital Program that extended his life for almost seventeen years. He is survived by his daughter Babette DiProspero of Warrensville, North Carolina and step-daughter Alice Orlando of Mountain City, Tennessee, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren, two sisters Marie Marcozzi of Drexel Hill and Doris Minniti of West Chester. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers Luigi Jr. and Erasimo DiProspero. Funeral services will be private.
